2003-05-07 - Life is blue as water when you're missing somebody

Layout 76/100: I see no design link so I guess you designed it all yourself, well done. I love the black and blue background. There's three pictures of The Cardigans placed next to the entry section, in a kind of haphazard manner. It all looks good except for the entry bit. it looks too blocky. It's just a big black block placed ontop of the background and ruins things. I think that if you put an inline scroll bar on your entry section instead of having a static background, it'd look better. It'd split the entry bit from the background and improve it in my opinion. The navigation is placed above the entry. It's okay there but there's room to put it underneath the bottom picture, or to the right of the pictures. It'd seperate it from the entry a bit better then. All your links work, ours is there. The guestbook doesn't match. I don't like how the entry title is placed all the way over in the right hand corner...why? Apart from that, all's okay.

Content 32/100: Uhhh. After the first entry I was bored. I read back to March and to the current entry and every single one was just you describing in great detail what you did in your day. You showed no emotion or feeling what so ever. It seems as though you only write to relieve boredom, which you shouldn't do, because a bored writer will write a boring entry. You may say you don't care what others think but the fact is you asked for a review, so you must write for the audience as well as yourself, or you wouldn't bother. Your spelling/grammar was generally good, a few typos here and there.

Insight 30/100: Hardly any, really. I can't tell much about you if the only things you write about are your day to day activities. The layout doesn't say much about you, except that you like The Cardigans...

Errors 95/100: There's a broken picture at the top of the entry on most pages.

Annoyances 100/100: Nothing really.

Extras 80/100: Quite a few.

Total 413/600 - 68.8%

Would I come back? Doubtful.
