2003-04-17 - Poetic Musings...
Layout 85/100: It's a nice layout, and only one or two things that I could find wrong with it. Firstly your previous and next links don't work (looks like you've used http://poetmusings.diaryland.com/%% prev %% instead of just %% prev %% as the link). Secondly a couple of the things on the navigation wrap which seems annoying because there's plenty of room for the navigation to be wider, also, the black titles on the navigation are difficult to read. The colours of the layout go great together though, and it's a good choice of layout for a diary of poetry.
Content 74/100: This diary is entirely devoted to poems. The poems you write are good, but I tend not to enjoy reading poetry. However reading yours was more interesting than I usually find poetry so you're definatly doing something right. I suppose it's because it's not difficult to understand what you're writing about (because that always annoys me).
Insight 35/100: Because this is a diary of poetry, it itself doesn't really give much of an insight into what kind of person you are. Some of the poems do tell the reader a bit about you (I think anyway), like the poem about your mum, of the one entitled "Still Crying". But on the whole it would be difficult to determine how you felt about things from this diary. Guess I'd have to read one of your others :)
Errors 62/100: The next and previous links are a pretty serious error. Also the navigation titles are very hard to read. Other than that everything works fine.
Annoyances 45/100: Having to go to the archive page to change entry every time was very annoying :) And not being able to read those titles made my eyes ache :'(
Extras 30/100: No extras to speak of, other than the links to your other diaries.
Total 331/600 - 55.2%
Would I come back? Probably not, but only because I'm not a fan of reading poetry. Keep up the good work though, because you're not half bad at it.
