first impressions
older.html: Nice sky blue background, header pic featuring Baby Gonzo (awww!), simple three-column table with basic links on the left, archives in the middle and "value-added" links on the right. Quite all right.
entries: Match archives layout. I'm starting with entry902.html

general aesthetics
White text, blue background, links in two (!!) shades of yellow, everything a decent size and contrast is good.

layout
Can't see a design credit so I'll assume it's self-made. It's pretty basic, and the table does look slightly odd over on the left side of the screen, but it's nicely structured and it doesn't hurt my eyes. Yay!

user-friendliness
Almost perfect. Visted and unvisited links are different colours, the hover cursor is a hand and the bar of the scrollbar is visible. Unfortunately the hover effect is a transform to uppercase. Links therefore expand to the right and links within text make the whole paragraph jump around. Ugh.

Excellent: laid out appropriately and easy to understand.

Near-daily updates with many multiples. Well done. :)

comprehension
Some typos, otherwise mostly good spelling and grammar and intelligent punctuation. Almost everything in lower case, but she's consistent about it so that's fine.

content
For the most part, excellent. Extremely easy to read. Irritations are blog-type content (quiz results and memes) and "off of" (*gnashes teeth*). Otherwise it's conversational and her personality comes through "just enough" (so it's chirpy without being over-the-top). Sometimes witty, sometimes solemn, sometimes introspective, but definitely easy to read. Brilliant. :)

i know i don't want to be president. or a world leader. that would be a horrible thing for me -- i'd screw it up royally and repeat all the mistakes i never learned about in my history classes.
excuse me while i don a thinking cap and grab a tissue

my life sucks even more. how? you ask? how could it get worse after two totally dead cars, and a horrendous final? when you're worried about money and david's worried about getting a job to make money? well, there are many ways but here's one: i got laid off.
kick me while i'm down, why don't you

my comments

Please do away with that uppercase transform in your hover (make it black text on a white background, or just underlined, whatever - but make it so it doesn't take up more room than the original link). Other recommendations are to centre your whole layout on the page and to put a teensy bit of cellspacing cellpadding in that middle column (where your entry goes) so the text isn't jammed up against the left-hand border. Otherwise, excellent. You go, girl! =)

Archive structure is good - archiving is by the month (and there sure are a lot of archives!)
